KP PCR Master Mix is a ready-to-use 2X premix specifically developed for competitive allele-specific PCR. It contains a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase modified with dual antibodies, along with dNTPs, buffer, and all other essential components for PCR amplification (except template, primers, and probes). For PCR setup, it is sufficient to simply add DNA template, gene-specific primers, and probes to the amplification system — dramatically simplifying the workflow, shortening operation time, and minimizing the risk of contamination due to fewer pipetting steps.
The reaction system of KP PCR Master Mix has been specially optimized to reduce the formation of mispriming-derived products, thereby significantly enhancing PCR specificity. This enables accurate detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and insertions/deletions (InDels) at specific loci. With its advantages of high throughput, low cost, and excellent ease of use, the product is widely applicable in various fields, including crop trait genetics and improvement research, animal breeding, and medical studies.
