GDSLyo Gold Reverse Transcriptase is a glycerol-free version of the Gold Reverse Transcriptase (#R3001), suitable for the preparation of lyophilized reagents. Gold Reverse Transcriptase is a heat-resistant reverse transcriptase engineered from M-MLV. It can synthesize the first-strand cDNA at 50°C-55°C, with higher thermal stability. The enzyme lacks RNase H activity and has high tolerance to common reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It is capable of reverse transcribing RNA with complex secondary structures, synthesizing long cDNA, and constructing full-length cDNA libraries with high proportion.
Application
Used for the preparation of lyophilized reagents related to RNA reverse transcription, especially for one-step RT-qPCR reagents.
Features
The optimum activity temperature is 50-55℃
